The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the official philanthropy of the Sorority since 1958, is the recipient of funds raised by chapters to support research to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and to improve the quality of life for the 30,000 children and young adults with disease. In 1992 scientists described the gene that, when mutated, causes CF; however, a cure for CF has not yet been found. In appreciation of the Sorority’s fund raising efforts, the CFF named a research fellowship in honor of Delta Phi Epsilon. Over one million dollars has been raised to date for the CFF through Delta Phi Epsilon.
