Hello visitors!

It is with great honor as president of the Alpha Pi Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority at Southern Connecticut State University, that I welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest! Here you will find information about Delta Phi Epsilon as well as a glimpse into the sisterhood within the Alpha Pi Chapter. Our chapter here at Southern is filled with strong, diverse women who use their various talents, personalities, and interests to work together to better ourselves and our local community. Delta Phi Epsilon provides many opportunities for its members to get involved on campus and become strong student leaders both inside and outside of sorority. Many of our sisters hold coordinator and Leadership Team positions within sorority along with being involved in Greek Life Council, InterResidence Council, SCSU TV, Programs Council and working with students as peer mentors and Community Coordinators/Advisors.

Our hard work and passion for Southern always shines through our participation in campus wide events such as Homecoming, Relay for Life, Special Olympics and of course Greek Week. We strive to show each and every person our dedication, pride and excellence through fundraisers, community service activities, and philanthropic work. The mission of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority is to develop in women a social consciousness and a commitment to think and act for the greater good. We assure continuous development and achievement for women through individual attention and smart strategic growth. In today’s world a woman can be so many things. You can be a friend, be a mother, be a teacher, or even be the president for example. Delta Phi Epsilon encourages each sister to be, above all else, true to who you are.

From the moment you join Delta Phi Epsilon, you enter into a special bond that will last a lifetime. There are many opportunities to stay involved after graduation and hold onto our sisterhood. When I joined Delta Phi Epsilon in the fall of 2007, I had no idea it would impact my life the way it has. With the help of my sisters, I have grown from a shy young woman to a confident leader on campus. It is an experience unlike any other and I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to lead an outstanding group of women and share our history, values and traditions with interested young women such as yourself! I encourage you to look further into our website to learn more about Delta Phi Epsilon at Southern Connecticut State University. Our website is a small overview of who we are and what we stand for, so I hope that you come and meet the sisters of the Alpha Pi Chapter and myself at our recruitment events this fall!
